Covid-19 Protocols
The challenges that COVID- 19 created has been a hard time for EVERYONE. Little Daisy’s will ensure that the health and safety of our children, employees and community are upheld at all times. If you are wondering if it is safe to bring your child to our facility, please read below.
- Drop Off/ Pick-up: Upon arrival/departure from the facility, a staff member will greet you at the door to pick-up or drop off your child. Please call the center 5 minutes prior to arrival for pick-up or drop-offs. Only enrolled children and staff are allowed into the facility; no parents, visitors or volunteers will be allowed entry.
- Face Mask: All children and staff are required to wear a face mask while in the facility except for babies and children younger than 2 years old.
- Daily Screening: All children and staff will be screened prior to entering the facility with a temporal thermometer check.
- Hand Hygiene: There will be a freestanding hand sanitizer dispenser at every entry in the facility that must be used upon entry. Also, an antibacterial soap that kills 99.9% of germs will be in both restrooms.
- Facility Readiness: All staff will be adhering to the guidelines from the CDC as while as The City of Philadelphia guidelines for childcare and early childhood education. Staff have been educated on common symptoms and preventive measures. All furniture and equipment will be disinfected daily and cleaned throughout the day.
- Signs/ Symptoms: Staff or children who present with a fever, sore-throat or cough will not be permitted into the facility.
